Nanorepel is a nanotechnology based Do-It-Yourself (DIY) coating that protects a wide-range of surfaces.
Ecocorp Asia launched Nanorepel, a very useful surface protection coating from Germany that uses nanotechnology. The easy to use system has a simple 3-step process of ‘clean, spray and protect'.
The protection system uses thin layers of ‘liquid glass' or quartz glass to coat surfaces. Therefore, the properties of glass including the temperature resistance, resistance to acids and alkalis, high flexibility and extensibility as well as dirt repellency are embedded in the coating. As a result, a simple water or light detergent rinse will regain the original appearance of any protected surface.
"Our in-house R&D team has also conducted extensive research to ensure that the product we are introducing works in our climate conditions. Today, with the rising cost of living, investing in a bottle of Nanorepel will result in seldom having to replace anything from your shoes to your home furnishing because of the protective coating it provides," says Malik Fernando, CEO and Managing Director of Ecocorp Asia.
“Due to the Nanorepel product line, we can offer more diverse, suitable solutions, especially for the end consumer.”
There are three ranges in the Nanorepel solution; the Car Care Range, Home Coating Surface and Outdoor Range. While the Car Care Range protects surfaces both in the interior and exterior, the Home coating surface works on many surfaces including upholstery to your grout lines to increase the lifespan of various items. Meanwhile, the Outdoor Range which has added water repellent and with breathable properties has been designed for the coated clothes, shoes or for bags. Sascha Schwindt, Managing Director of Nanopool GmbH said "Due to the Nanorepel product line, we are able to offer more diverse, suitable solutions, especially for the end consumer."
The Nanorepel products have been made available at all leading supermarkets in the country and is being distributed throughout the country by Greenwich Capital Management and Sawy Care. Chathura Semaratne, Chief Operating Officer and Managing Director adds, "We want to use our wide distribution network to take Nanorepel across the island to make it a household name for DIY coatings. We are very confident that by partnering with Ecocorp Asia, we are bringing to Sri Lanka a very high quality and revolutionary product to every home."
