'Krrish Square' in Sri Lanka
Krrish Group, having attained its prominence in India, is now extending its sphere in the hospitality and real estate sector of Sri Lanka. The Group with the mission to be the best and a vision to create ‘Luxurious Lifestyles’, has now launched the first phase of its luxury residential spaces, ‘Krrish Square’, in the heart of the commercial capital, Colombo.
R P Gupta, Chief Executive Officer – Krrish Group and Nimal Perera, Chairman – Urban Development Authority – Colombo, the local partner of the project shared the MoU of this USD 460 miilion project, which is expected to be completed in five years. Addressing the gathering, Nimal Perera stated that a ten percent advance payment has been made and the balance will be paid as the project progresses for this 99 year-long lease.
“The project, that consists a total built up area of four acres will be a key component in making Sri Lanka the ‘Wonder of Asia’ and a most significant milestones in urban development of the country,” added the UDA Chairman.
The high-rise mixed use complex is situated at the Transwork Square, a British era heritage building and close to the World Trade Centre, Hilton Hotel, Central Bank surrounded by three roads, Chatham Street, York Street and Lotus Road.
The Krrish Square will hold four high rise ultra-luxurious towers and will be envisaged as a vertical city. Three of them will house high-end residential apartments. The fourth tower, will be the tallest tower with 85 levels with a high end retail complex, commercial office outlets and a seven star hotel.
“One of the objectives of this project is to provide infrastructure and ambience, which will attract global Fortune 500 companies to set up their business units here...” R P Gupta stated about the prospect of the legendary complex.
The structures of the Krrish Square have been designed by the multi-award winning architecture firm C P Kukreja Associates, while the interior designing and landscape are undertaken by Wilson Associates, New York and Dandi Living, London.
The Group announced that the residential apartments within the tower are now available for sale.
