Carmart, the sole agent for Peugeot, is proud to introduce the new Peugeot 508 executive saloon and 3008 crossover SUV to the Sri Lankan automobile market. Both vehicles represent landmark models for Peugeot, with the 508 being the first five-series Peugeot in 20 years, succeeding the iconic 505. The 3008 is the first internally conceptualised and produced Peugeot SUV.

The 508 replaces both the 407 and 607 to become the flagship of the Peugeot product range. It is offered in Sri Lanka in two versions, Comfort or Premium. Premium versions showcase advanced features such as keyless entry and ignition, quad-zone climate control, a parking space measurement system, directionally swiveling bi-Xenon headlamps with SmartBeam technology that automatically dips high beams when it sees an oncoming vehicle. Comfort versions feature half-leather interior, automatic headlamps and wipers, parking sensors, alloy wheels, and electric seats.

The stylish, 'Latin-Germanic' design fuses the slick, feline style of previous Peugeots with more chiseled German executive saloon styling.

The 3008 is aimed squarely at drivers with active lifestyles, with storage galore and immense practicality to hold cargo in a variety of configurations. Both the cars come with a high level of safety equipment as standard for both the passengers as well as pedestrians. They include six air bags with side impact curtain airbags, anti-lock brake system, electronic brake force distribution, electronic stability programme and automatic skid regulation.
